WAGON WHEEL CLOCK

Where would the world be
without the wheel? The old Wagon Wheel is
certainly a nostalgic piece of American history.
It has a romance all it's own as it brings to mind her
many uses during the days of yesteryear. The wheel
turned on many a Conestoga Wagon, known as the Prairie
Schooner, as it became the temporary home for the
several months while it took a family across the country
over trails which had yet to become roads. The
romance of Stagecoach traveling from town to town or across
the country conjures up its own visions of the days
before railroads. The wagon wheel was what made
much of the farming and ranching equipment useable when
farms and cattle ranches were what populated our young
and growing country and drove her economy. The Wheelwright, who made and
repaired wagon wheels, could be found in many towns of
the East as well as the Old West. His services
were an integral part of our nation's early history.
Anyone with an interest
in the Old West and the history of our nation in her
early years wants a wagon wheel. This wagon wheel
replica, with a quartz clock movement, will be a welcome
addition to your home or office. It comes with an
unfinished rustic look.
This replica of the
Wagon Wheel is 36" in diameter. It features a 5
7/8" antique gold Quartz Clock movement mounted into the
hub of the wheel. The movement is easily removed
to insert or replace an 'AA' sized battery or for
setting the time. Battery is not included.

- PRICES and ORDERING -
NOTE: The Wagon Wheel clock ships in two
separate packages. One for the wheel and one for
the movement. Assembly is quick and easy.
Simply slip the clock insert into the wagon wheel hub
with the number 12 at the top. The front of the
hub will be predrilled to accept the movement. On
the back of the clock a nail hole will be drilled in the
rim of the wheel above the top spoke. When
inserting the movement aim the number 12 toward the
spoke which is below the hole in the rim. When
placing the clock on a nail in the wall simply hang the
clock on the nail with the head inside the hole.
We ship in two separate packages to lessen any chances
of damages to the movement during shipment.
