The modern styling gives The
Edinburg an elegant look. From the scalloped crown
to the flow of the modern look of the non-sectionalized
waist to the foot this floor clock resonates charm and
beauty. The Stratton features a glass front
and sides in the waist and at the clock dial. The
movement is a triple chiming, 8-Day key wound cable
driven timepiece made by Germany's clock smiths. It
is solid brass and carries a 2 year manufacturer'
warranty. It plays your selection of the
Westminster, Saint Michael or Whittington chimes on the
quarter hour and gongs the hour. It has a night
silencing lever.
The Basic Clock
includes The Stratton Grandfather Clock complete with
the basic German made movement, window grade glass,
standard stain and a brushed on polyurethane finish.
Add an Embossed La
Grand Movement upgrade to give your Stratton a more
luxurious look. This option includes the same
triple chiming system noted above but comes with
matching Embossed Dial, Pendulum and Weight Shells.
The La Grand Option is not available as a 'sold
separately' item here in the Handcrafted Clock Catalog.
To purchase this movement alone please visit our
Clock Kit Catalog.
An available
beveled glass option enhances the look of luxury for
this floor clock. The front waist door and side
glass are beveled at the edges to give your clock a more
elegant look. While the arched hood door glass is
not beveled it is a thicker and more durable glass than
the standard window glass which comes in the basic clock
package.
Finish your clock
with our trademark hand-rubbed finish for a beautiful
addition to your home or office. The Hand-Rubbed
finish is applied with a mixture of stain, oils and
waxes in a polyurethane base. Each coat is rubbed
on by hand and buffed as it dries. The Hand-Rubbed
Finish technique brings out a deeper luster and depth of
the grain and character of the hardwood with each
additional coat that is added. Our Hand-Rubbed
Finish option below includes two coats and the
additional fine sanding that is required for hand rubbed
finishes. Additional coats are available at
$100.00 each.
